3 Days Samburu Safari

Day 1: Transfer from Nairobi to Samburu game reserve

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International airport, you will be received by an experienced tour guide and briefed on your expedition to the rugged northern region of Kenya where the Samburu game reserve is situated. Samburu is famous for its Grevy Zebras and reticulated Giraffes, Somali ostriches as well as a plethora of wildcats and birds.

On arrival at the park, you will check into the lodge of your preference and commence on an exhilarating game drive within the park which will give you the opportunity to come face to face with Africa’s finest beasts. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Bird watching, Game drive, and several wildlife activities

With the virtue of the arid vegetation complemented by water sources and shades which entice wildlife, it is guaranteed that you will spot several animals and birds during your early morning Game drive. After lunch, you will embark on a cultural visit to the famous Samburu people whose culture is extremely colorful and fascinating.

Alternatively, the bird lovers will embark on a nature walk where they will be able to spot these magnificent creatures such as; the golden pipit, Somali bee-eater, and several others. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Early morning game drive and departure for Nairobi

Depending on your scheduled time to depart from Kenya, you will take an early morning game drive before you embark on your journey to Jomo Kenyatta International airport. If you still have ample time on your hands, feel free to stop by Karen Blixen Museum and the Giraffe Centre in Nairobi. (These extra activities are not included in the costed package, therefore you will be charged separately).
